    Non-Responsive when Pop-up appears

    On OSX10.10.4, TS 3.0.17, Qt Version: 5.4.1

When I am moved to a moderated channel and I get the popup 'You can only speak if Talk power has been granted to you' etc., clicking on the popup or anywhere in the main window brings no response. Each time this occurs I must quit the application.

    Has anyone else encountered this?

    I can't reproduce that issue.

You must click the OK button to get out of that popup and to have access to the rest of the client again.

Clicking on OK produces no more response than clicking anywhere else. Will try a full reinstall this evening. Should that fail, is there a way for me to generate a log file for you?

Ok didn't know that the OK button triggers the problem for you. I thought the dialog itself does this and you can not

Logs are stored in your personal Libary folder under "Users/Username/Libary/Application Support/TeamSpeak 3" .
This is hidden by default and must enabled first.

    - What Device are you using?
    - Have you more than 1 Monitor connected?
    - Please update to OSX 10.10.5.
    - Does it help, when you activate "do not show again" before you press the Ok buton? Maybe the dialog does not appear again, when the client is able to save this in the databse.

The dialog triggers it, not the OK button. You had that right. The trouble is that I cannot click the OK button, the 'Do not show again' checkbox, or anything else in the pop up (or main window). Or rather I can click all I want, but it is completely unresponsive.

    I am using a late 2013 27 inch iMac.

    No additional monitors.

I am now on OSX10.10.5 and have done a fresh Teamspeak install, and still encountered the problem.

    Two most recent logs attached.

The logs do not show erros.
Does this happen since client 3.0.17?

    To test this:
    1. Make a backup of the config folder TeamSpeak 3. You may need it when you use client 3.0.17 again.
    2. Download client 3.0.16 from http://dl.4players.de/ts/releases/3....osx-3.0.16.dmg
    3. Install the client 3.0.16
    4. Retest a moderated channel.

You could also try to reset the configuration.

Also occurs on 3.0.16. How would I reset the configuration?

Rename or move the folder TeamSpeak 3.

In case his fixes the issue:
Do me a favor and send me the settings.db of your old cofig in a private message. I'd like to retest this.

Request Talk Power pop up frozen

I am new to team speak and every time i try to enter a tournament channel, there's a pop up about requesting talk power and the teamspeak clients is frozen after that. I cannot scroll, or quit the client, and I can't click anywhere. I than would have to force quit the client and restart it, however, the problem still exists thereafter. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Messageboxes can't be closed

I don't know if this is specific to Mac OS Teamspeak but I'm currently using El Capitan 10.11.5

    Prerequisites
    • Enable autoconnect to a server which displays a Welcome Messagebox on connect.
    • Downgrade TeamSpeak 3 so it will show a "There is an update" Messagebox on start.

    Reproduce
    • Start Teamspeak 3

    Expected
    • You can interact with either of those message boxes and you are able to close them

    Actual
    • You can't interact with either of those message boxes and you are left to restart TeamSpeak.

This is a known behavior, it's not reproducable for anyone in our company.
We need to reproduce it somehow, to know why this happens.

Simultaneous server welcome message and update available popup blocking the app

    Hey,
I have TS3 auto connecting to a server on startup. This server has a welcome message that pops up at the top of the app window (I believe it is for previously unauthorized members; I haven't authed as I only occasionally use TS3). As I start up the app, it naturally also checks for updates, and occasionally of course gives me the update available popup/prompt. Now the problem is, that when both of these popups appear at the same time, I can't seem to do anything in the app.. I can't click any buttons on the update popup, nor can I click the OK button on the welcome message popup, hitting esc/enter/spacebar etc does nothing to close either popup.. essentially I'm stuck, with no toolbar menus being usable either, I can't even quit the app. The only way around this thus far has been to force quit the TS3 client, and either update it manually, or simply start it up again if I for whatever reason haven't felt like updating it at that very moment (the update prompt thankfully doesn't appear on every startup).

So, quite a simple request, could you try to find a way to prevent the client coming into this state of being "blocked" by two simultaneous popups? Either by forcing the popups to wait for one to be acknowledged before the other appears, or something similar? I understand that the update prompt at least has been essential for developers to keep there, but there has to be some way around this issue without being left having to force quit the program in such a scenario.

Thanks in advance for any response! -Dazli

The reason why you can't click should not be the update dialog.
Will retest that when I'm back in office.

Just download the installer or do the update in client to get rid of the update dialog. (We do not give support for outdated clients)

    //Edit
    Can't reproduce this.

That's what happens to me, too
I updated the operative system today and I still have this problem.
