File transfer security / extension limits

Hi, i am looking into further securing my teamspeak server and would like to know if limiting/blocking certain file types like the basics ".com, .bat, .exe etc" can be done? i couldnt find anything in the server config but perhaps i am not looking in the right place?

That is nothing you can do with our software.

You may search if Firewalls or antivirs tools can do that for target folders.

Users will rename the files to jpg or something else to abuse that system.
You may also search for something that checks the filetype.

If your server runs unter Linux, you may look into the program inotifywait from the package inotify-tools. With it, you can monitor file creation/movement/deletion real-time and act accordingly in a shell script.

You may write a shell script that runs as a damon and waits for creation of unwanted files in the file store of the Teamspeak server and removes them as soon as they appear on the server. Or whatever you want it to do.

Advanced scripting and Linux knowledge required.
