Hello,

I'm Server Admin of a rented TS3 Server and I wanted to grant myself a new Server Group and make a client icon in the i_icon_id. It always shows me an error message saying insufficient client permissions (failed on i_client_needed_permission_modify_power).
The server group I want to set to myself is a copied guest group. I want to add different csgo ranks to teamspeak users on my server, by setting the server group icon.

I can set the server group to other clients on my server, but not to other server admins or myself.
I've used the forum search and google, but I did not find any solution

This overview is not enough.

Check your group for:
i_permission_modify_power
i_group_member_add_power
i_group_modify_power

Check target groups for the needed permissions:
i_group_needed_member_add_power
i_group_needed_modify_power

Also check your client permissions for all these permissions.
And do a permission overview on yourself.

i_group_member_add_power: Value 50
i_group_modify_power: Value 50

Targeted Group permissions:

i_permission_modify_power: none
i_group_member_add_power: none
i_group_modify_power: none

i_group_needed_member_add_power: Value 50
i_group_needed_modify_power: Value 50

Also check your client permissions for all these permissions.
And do a permission overview on yourself.

My own client permissions are all not set, everything is gray

Here are the full permissions of the server admin group, which I have.

I don't know how the export them different than screenshotting.

That is not a permission overview. Permission overview is in the context menu of the server tree.

To geht there:
Right click a user -> Permissions -> Permissions Overview.
Then use Export as Text.

Please also use this dialog to compare the permissions, before you export that txt file.

A quicker way is to create a second identity
--> connect with that one in a new tab
--> assign the Normal or target group
--> do a permission overview on that user

The problem is (as usual ) misconfigured permissions set.
Your "Premium" group has "Client Permission Modify Power" set to "0" and "Negate" activated.
Negate means the server uses the lowest value for this permission, so even youre a server admin, being in the "premium" group sets your "Client Permission Modify Power" to "0", while the "Needed Client Permission Modify Power" is still "75".

Solution: Remove the "Client Permission Modify Power" permission from Premium Group.
