You have 3 options when your Server Admin or any other default server group is messed up and you can't repair or want to reset it.

Following need the ServerQuery login serveradmin to fix this.

    - You reset this one server group
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/threads/9...ervergroupcopy

    - You reset all permissions on your server (this excludes Query group permissions)
    https://forum.teamspeak.com/threads/...366#post404366

    - You fix the permission(s) manually by using command servergroupaddperm.

If none of the options do work -> You messed up all permissions. Please delete your database and start from scratch. There is nothing we can do for you

    Unable to access server groups

    Hello,
Yesterday evening, one of the administrators on my server reported to me that he was unable to modify any server groups and he couldn't add/remove groups, all server groups were faded. I verified this among the other administrators and they were unable to do anything either. I tried and I had the same issue. I also can`t click on privilege keys. I host this server on an old netbook which was running the server perfectly for the last 5 months. I`m still unable to resolve this issue.

Any suggestions/advice to what this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards,
    Conor

I don't understand what you try to tell me.

Is it greyed out or you get errors, when you assign that group or are dialogs broken with that group.
In that case i would say do a complete permreset on that server.

Teamspeak 3 server error message "insufficient group modify power"

So I'm kind of new to permission systems and teamspeak servers so please remember this when giving a solution.

My problem is that I am the owner of the server, I bought it and have all permissions, or so I thought, whenever I try to make a new group it says "error", doesn't let me edit any of the permissions of this group and I cannot edit it. I have been able to make groups in the past, however I can't now. Please leave a solution that someone new to teamspeak permissions can understand C:

    Thanks, LordSuma

By logging in into the ServerQuery as serveradmin and using the command servergroupaddperm or using servergroupcopy or permreset.
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/threads/1...ervergroupcopy

You gave no details about the permission name, so i can't give you the exact command.

Do you still have Server Admin?

If you have server admin, find i_group_modify_power and change value to 75.
If you are still enable to remove groups check i_group_needed_modify_power value.

Do not give Server Admin to anyone except yourself for your own safety

Lost some permition on ServerAdmin group

Hello, sorry for language but I'm French,

I'm owner of a private TS3 server on my own computer. I don't know how I did that but some times I've the "inssficent modify power" message. I followed this thread to correct this problem but my Query does't have permission too ! I tried to recreate a ServerAdmin group via a Query command but no permition too. Thanks for helping !

How to reset all permissions (not Query permisisons)
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/threads/6...ight=permreset

    Only reset one group
    http://forum.teamspeak.com/threads/9...ervergroupcopy

You need to do that with login serveradmin to fix this.
If this does not work -> You messed up all permissions. Please start from scratch. There is nothing we can do for you

Unable to edit permission as admingroup

    Hi,

I am familiar with most of ts' permission system expect the grant permission, whist messing with it i accidently removed the grant permission on the admin group, now i can no longer change the permission nor give back the grant permission,
i always thought the admin group has the override permission, but apparantely my admin group does not have this, nor does the default admin group on another server have it, i can also not give this b_permission_modify_power_ignore , (so what is the point of this permission if i dont have it nor give it to me)

is there away to revert an permission change or give myself the override permission?
