I accidently removed the entire Server Admin group going through the permission and now do not have access to anything anymore.
The server I'm running on Nitrous Network has a thing to create server tokens but now that the server admin group is removed I can't create a toke of this one anymore.

How do I recreate the server admin group now without having to completely recreate the server?

What do I do when ServerQuery login is greyed out in TS3?

You use the serveradmin login that was give on firs server start.
Your own Query account would not be able to fix this due missing permissions

    Question permission removed by mistake

    Hello
    1. So I removed i_channel_permission_modify_power by mistake on my admin group. and when I try to add the permission I get this error insufficient permission modify power. how can I add it again ?

    2. when I try to edit a channel and add modify power higher than 0 I get this error: insufficient client permissions (failed on i_channel_needed_permission_modify_power). Is this related ? is it because I removed the permission by mistake ? how can I reset this ?

    3. is it possible to reset the admin group ?

    Please help
    Thanks

    Teamspeak 3 Permissions

I host a TS3 server on my home computer and seem to have gotten the permissions for the Server admin groups messed up beyond repair (due to no longer having permissions to change the groups). I would like to restore the permissions and am wondering how to use the "Serveradmin" and password that i was given when I first started the server in order to restore these permissions?

    Thanks in advance!

    How to use Server Query
Once logged in on the command line, the command permreset will reset all permissions.

you need to select the virtual server you want to perform a permission reset on first. This can be done with the "use" command. For example: "use port=9987" would choose the first server on port 9987 to run any subsequent commands on.

    Grant on i_channel_min_depth is missing.
Please reset your admin group in the ServerQuwty with command severgroupcopy.

    Explained here http://forum.teamspeak.com/threads/1...p-is-screwd-up

    You fail on permission i_group_needed_modify_power.
Your i_group_modify_power is not high enough to add permissions into the Server Admin group.

Following is danger and you better make a backup of your database!
Are you really logged in wiht the account serveradmin?
In case of: You may raise i_group_modify_power in sgid=2

    //Edit
Better reset your Server Admin group as explained in next post or post #2.

    162 is i_group_needed_modify_power.

    try
    Code:
    servergroupaddperm sgid=6 permid=162 permvalue=75 permnegated=0 permskip=0
    first.

If that fails you can try:
    Code:
    servergroupcopy ssgid=3 tsgid=6 name=Server\sAdmin type=1
    to reset the ServerAdmin group.
