Add/edit permission for serveradmin

Hey guys,

need some help from the "gurus". I'm administrating my server via YatQa and I need to assign b_serverinstance_modify_settings right to serveradmin.

How can I assign this rights ? Because otherwise I can't change serverinstance_serverquery_flood_commands parameter.

You are asking in the wrong forum (we are not YatQa):
We only offer support for the ServerQuery via Telnet / Putty

This is how you do it:

login serveradmin yourpassword
use 1
servergroupaddperm sgid=2 permsid=b_serverinstance_modify_settings permvalue=1 permnegated=0 permskip=0

are you hiring the server, if so you might need to get this permission granted for you.
also have you tried modifying it through the TS permissions it's self, as some 3rd party software might have a little bug inside of it, (not saying it does). i personally just use that program for a better way to manage the server & get ideas, as well to back ups & saves permissions & mass changes, but apart from that use the TS program i would recommend, if that doesn't work then see if you have permissions to access that command from your host.

b_serverinstance_xxxx are permissions that should not be assigned to other users at all.
It only should be used in the ServerQuery. And in best case one the existing loginname serveradmin.

But good catch with rented server.
If your server is rented, then you will be unable to set that permission to yourself.
The server hoster will not allow you to edit his whole server isntance.
