My voice is to loud for others

What client version is running? 3.0.18
What soundcard and headset do you use? Razer Maelstrom (USB Headset)
What operation system is running? Windows 10
Did it work before? It worked in Windows 7
So I have been having a major issue with my mic in teamspeak 3 only! It works fine in Skype. When I talk too loud it starts to get very loud and distorted. Here is an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpoR09tbX88 . You can hear my mic there and it is very annoying!

If you need any other information feel free to ask.

It's a normal distortion, when your mic is set to loud.
Normaly AGC (automati voice ganin control) should handle this by default.
Check if that feature is enabled in your capture profile.

    If this does not help.
Try turning the volume in your sound mixer back to a default value.
Default should be the slider is at 50% (+ 20dB).

Turning the volume down fixed it, but I'm quiet now. Anyways it fixed my problem thank you.

On any server I join, I have the same consistent problem of my own volume being to high. Despite everything I've tried, including changing all setting and re-installing. I have been told that I "Sound like I'm screaming into my mic" If anyone could help in any way it would be very much appreciated.

You need to turn down the Mic level in your sound card mixer or in Windows Audio Control Panel (right-click the speaker icon and choose recording devices. Now choose your Mic and then change the level).
