    Had the same happen too, twice today.

    2016-02-06 03:30:42.090859|CRITICAL|ServerParser  |   |Assertion "rID == REASON_NONE || rID == REASON_CLIENTDISCONNECT" failed at ../../../../s/deps/teamspeak_server_lib/src/ts_server/serverparser.cpp:962;

    Got a mysterious crash today, on debian wheezy amd64, with 3.0.12.
    Only thing i can see in the log:
    2016-02-06 11:14:53.412844|CRITICAL|ServerParser | |Assertion "rID == REASON_NONE || rID == REASON_CLIENTDISCONNECT" failed at ../../../../s/deps/teamspeak_server_lib/src/ts_server/serverparser.cpp:962;

    Any idea what this could be?
    Never had a crash on previous versions.

    That is indeed a bug introduced in 3.0.12, yes. I hope that they will fix this very soon.

    Downgrade to 3.0.11.4. Before installing the downgrade, make sure to edit instance_properties.serverinstance_database_versio n in your database to 23.

    Is this possible with SQLite or would it be better for me to just restore a backup previous to the upgrade?

    I cannot understand why they are giving a tool away to "VIP" members who are donating to them, yet they claim to be a security researcher team surely if they were in-fact that they would privately disclose a vulnerability not give people the tools to exploit it it's borderline blackhat.

    Your choice. TeamSpeak would tell you to use a backup, but I modified my database because the changes from version 23 to 24 were neglegible.

    Many thanks for your help/advice as always! I've modified the database to avoid dataloss, all seems to be working well. I presume once 3.0.12.x is stable just change it back to 24?
