[Beta Channel] TeamSpeak 3 Client 3.0.19

TeamSpeak 3 client version 3.0.19 is now available for testing in the beta channel.

This update includes updated versions of included libraries, as well as the lua runtime. We've also fixed several issues related to images, among other bugs.

- Removed server IP display in server and client connection info dialogs
- Removed setup wizard, replaced with a simple dialog to let users enter a
  default nickname. To be expanded in a future release.
- Fixes to hotkey events in plugin SDK

If you are not yet on the beta channel, you can easily do so by going to Options / Applications and switch the Update Channel dropdown box to "Beta". To opt-out of Beta again, switch it back to "Stable".

Indeed. That change – which I think is based on some people crying about being DDoSed by script kiddies – is ridiculous.

Why should that help? One can still get the IP either from DNS or the label above.

That seems like the most important information in the connection dialog.

I know some kids that already downgraded from 3.0.19 just to get that info. So in fact it is a 12yr-scriptkiddy-booter-user-protection.

I just saw your new French translation.
I want to say that it is already much better and consistent than the previous version!


However, some translated lines are somewhat blurred and still others are meaningless.


I stand to make you my opinion about it and I hope you will continue to advance ongoing translation

+1 I completely agree with Hawk19 but as administrator of a server, I add that the translations of the permissions were improved, but that she sometimes stays, not coherent with the software TeamSpeak 3

Client 3.0.19 Beta 2 was released.

There are not much changes from beta 1
+ Added french translation into the client
+ Fixed a typo in spanish translation
+ Fixed a News Ticker bug (not included in changelog)

Thanks for the feedback on french.

I'd like to point out that our goal is not to alienate community translators but to make it easier for the non-powerusers to have a pre-installed translation available without the need to do an extra download and having to manually update them after each release. We got a lot of complains about the difficulty of installing and maintaining translations, so we need to address this issue.

Seriously, bad grammatical construction, bad word, non-sens, OMG, and the permission side ... not possible.
The french language has rules, subject => verb => compliment ... please respect the French language.
