Contacts > Last Seen, allow Sorting

    Hi,

would be great if you could enable sorting in the Contacts view, especially for the Last Seen column (1):

Got such a big list of client's and wanted to delete all clients which i didn't saw since months, but i can't sort them...

    Greetings,

I agree and will create a ticket for that request.

    //Edit
    But i see one problem.
The contact types still need to be splittet after sorting. You still will need to scroll a bit to get to blocked or neutral contacts.
Adding a 3rd table for contact type is overload in my opinion for that dialog.

At the moment all contacts of the contact type "Friend"s are at the beginning of the list, followed by "Neutral" identities.

Now there are two possible options which i see without adding a 3rd column.
Example: If you sort on Last Seen they are (Option A) mixed or if you can handle it (Option A+B) sorted + grouped by contact type.

    Option A:
    UserName 1 - 10.01.2016 - Friend
    UserName 4 - 09.01.2016 - Neutral
    UserName 2 - 05.01.2016 - Friend
    UserName 5 - 04.01.2016 - Neutral
    UserName 3 - 02.01.2016 - Friend
    UserName 6 - 01.01.2016 - Neutral

    Option A + B:
    UserName 1 - 10.01.2016 - Friend
    UserName 2 - 05.01.2016 - Friend
    UserName 3 - 02.01.2016 - Friend
    UserName 4 - 09.01.2016 - Neutral
    UserName 5 - 04.01.2016 - Neutral
    UserName 6 - 01.01.2016 - Neutral

Don't see any problems with both methods - you will find the old identities really fast.

    This is option B

Option A is ugly and destroys our current behavior to sort per type.

But what about Filters? Or they are also overload for this dialog?

And another fact to mention, every contact-type is also displayed with different colors, so option A could show the type without a new column.

And the point is, sorting by "last seen" has to destroy sorting by type. As far as i understand the request, there should be a strict sort for "last seen", prior to other sortings.

I'd personally expect A to happen when I click on such.
Imagine "Friends" exceeds the windows size: The user would have to have previous knowledge of this special sorting of B or otherwise would never know about having to scroll down.

The user has that knowledge when he looks at the list, because the client does it that way.

Mixing up contact types is ugly in my opionion.
