smiley detection has precedence over character escape sequences in chats

Reproducible on Sever 3.0.12.2/Linux_x64, Client Beta 3.0.19/Win_x64
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Connect to server
    2. Post ') to any chat

    Actual result:
The sent message says &apos<winking smiley>

    Expected result:
    The sent message says ')

Server is stable build version from 15.02.2016 15:51:38, running on updated Arch Linux x64
Client is beta build version from 10.03.2016 09:24:50, running on updated Windows 8.1 x64

    This also happens with other chars typically HTML-encoded in non-UTF8 html, for example ") => &quot<winking smiley>, >) => &lt<winking smiley>

    Thank you for the report.
We are aware about that already and decided ~2 years ago not to build in a workaround to fix this.

Please use other chars to print your emoticons.

I've noticed this when sending snippets of code, where quotes followed by a closing parenthesis are rather common (at least in C-Style languages), so there is no alternative char to use, especially since both double and single quotes get escaped.

Of course that might be a rather rare use case, so I understand your decision.

I still am curious why you escape quotation marks in the first place - outside of Tags you are not required to when creating HTML for QT to render, and on the network transportation side of things having to escape them seems rather unlikely, especially when seeing that e.g. Umlauts are not escaped () works as expected).

    Emoticon falsch verarbeitet

    Hi,

ich habe einen winzigen Bug gefunden, und zwar wird ') zu &apos:zwinkersmiley: ausgewertet.

    Schritte zur Reproduktion:
    1. ') (Apostroph Klammer_zu) in das Chatfenster eintippen
