Virtual server does not start "error id=2054 msg=invalid\sfile\spath"

    Hi all,

Apologies if the answer is listed somewhere, but I've been searching these forums for hours.

I successfully installed and was running a TS server yesterday and everything was good. Today I had to reboot my machine and now I cannot connect via the client.
I've logged in via ServerQuery and as far as I can tell, its offline, but I cannot get it restarted. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There is a lag of details in your thread.

    Which server verison?
    Which linux?
Which command do oyu use for start?
Does your user have permisons to read/write/execute anything in the server path?
What is the content of your server.ini or parameters if you've used one of them?
Does the file path files\virtualserver_1 still exist in your root folder of the server?

And read or show your server log!

Apologies, I am very new to all this, so will try to provide you whatever info is needed.
    Running Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS
    Using Teamspek3 server 3.0.12.3
Using ./ts3server_startscript.sh start and it comes up with TeamSpeak 3 server started, for details please view the log file, but there doesn't appear to be anything in the log file, unless I'm not doing it properly
User has the necessary permissions, was using it fine until the restart.
Where do I find the server.ini file?
I see the files folder, but there is nothing in it? how would this have been removed? How do I fix it?
