Instance check error /failed to update local accounting /no Key on start (on Windows)

Hey,

i tryed to host my own TS³ Server on my WIndows ROOT (Windows R12) but the server can not start..

I don´t know why.

But when i try to start the server on MY PC(WIN7) i work´s without problems and i can connect witouth any issues.. I

Hey,

I'm having issues with a brand new installation on Windows Server 2012 R2.
When starting ts3server_win64.exe as admin I get an empty Server Admin privilege key.

I restarted the VM; deleted the logs folder as well as ts3server.sqlitedb and started ts3server_win64.exe as admin and bam the server admin privilege key is now generated. Very weird

at all I´m glad to be here. And I´m sorry but i have a question/Problem that i can´t resolve by myself.

I´ve installed a TS3 Server on our Windows Server 2012.
I can start the application and i see that the Service is working.

I tried to connect but it failed.
I also enabled the needed ports on the Firewall (UPD: 9987; TCP: 10011, 30033, 41144).

I have the same issue. Surely this can't be coincidental given the volume of people having the same issue.

Plenty of solutions for Linux, who give for Windows?

It's been open since... wait, am I reading this right? 2012?

Surely we have a solution... who has it???

Run it with admin rights. Then it should start... I'm searching for an alternative solution since running it as super user isn't a good thing...

are you trying to run the server as a service? If so try starting it from a regular user session.

I have same problem and I'm getting same error. Server was working for some time but when I started it yesterday it don't worked. Same error. I want to use server only for my small gaming clan. Up to 15 slots or less. I have no idea how to fix this problem. Can you help me?

I was not able to get any of the 3.0.12 releases to work. But the 3.0.11.4 did for me.

There reason why there is no server started is, you miss permission on your users to start the accounting service.
Move the server to C:\Users\yourusername or in any sub folder and then try to start the server again.

What I ended up doing is trying older versions one at a time until I found one that worked, it was 3.0.11 then set up the channels, then I updated the server to the latest version and everything is running great now.

I have the exact same issue with the new server.

The issue happens on Windows Server 2008 R2. If I copy the server to Windows 7 it works fine.
