Can't connect to server.

I've tried connecting to a friends server but I always end up getting disconnected. At times I end up connecting to it but only for about a second. Any solutions?

UPDATE:

I installed TS3 on another computer with a different IP and router and connected to the server! But I'm still having issues with my main PC. What's the problem?
