    Client 3.0.19 and newer does crash on OS X 10.7.5

    Hello,

    Yesterday, I've tried to install the new update for TS (3.0.19) but, during the updating process, it crashed. So I suppressed all the TS files, and re-installed it with the new version. But now, each time I start the program, it crashes when the main menu appears.

    Works fine for me when i update from stable 3.0.18.2 to 3.0.19 on OS X 10.11.3
    Which OS X version do you use and which client version was installed before?

    I'm in OSX 10.7.5 and I had Teamspeak 3.0.18.2.

    3.0.19 Crash problem

    I recently upgraded my client to 3.0.19, and every time you boot, the client crashes. The system of my Mac: Lion

    Bug: Client Crash TS 3.0.19

    Hello,

    I noticed that this was a problem for other users as well, however, I am running OSX 10.7.5, and the TS 3.0.19 mac client will successfully download and install. However, when you click on the icon to actually start up TS, it will open, only to crash several seconds either.

    I believe that the common factor between all those who downloaded it, and crashing, was the use of OSX 10.7.5.

    Also, I saw that you posted the update for 3.0.19.1- not sure if that fixed the issue, however, the TS updater gets the same message that my normal teamspeak gets when I try to update it.

    tl;dr OSX 10.7.5 with TS 3.0.19 crashes, and 3.0.19.1 doesn't seem to fix the issue.

    Update: tried updating to TS 3.0.19.1. The crashing upon startup is fixed, however, any time you try to connect to a server (be it 3.0.19.x or 3.0.18.x), the client will once again crash.

    CPU: 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

    We can explain why the client does crash on OS X 10.7.x

    OpenSSL got replaced for Secure Transport in the OS X client 3.0.19.
    And Secure Transport is only supported from OS X 10.8 and newer.

    The only solution is to update to OS X 10.8 or to the latest version.
    OS X 10.8 is now the new minimal system requirement

    Please, I cannot possibly update to 10.8 is there any possible way that you can fix this problem for 10.7.5? If not, me and probably a lot of other people can never possibly use teamspeak again. Please consider this. @Dante696

    There is no fix or workaround for this. OS X 10.8 is a must have to run the latest client.

    TS 3.0.19 doesn't work on mac osx 10.7.5

    There are hundreds of users that use this osx and it isn't working for all of us. Please fix this.

    It crashes everytime you try to join a server.

    Your outdated operation system does not support Secure Transport which was added in OS x 10.8.

    We know that it does crash and we know why, but we can not fix this!
    You must update your computer to OS x 10.8 or newer.
