Server Crash (server_accounting.cpp:555 / 538)

Hello friends,

Esotu with a problem in my tsserver, which can not solve and I have already ideas of what might be.

I turn tsserver the server machine, then by my machine connect the TS. The server remains on for a few minutes then simply falls.

Already I checked the doors, already reinstalled the tsserver already reseted the soriginais Setting Enable the windows firewall, but it happens.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

I am sending the log server attached to this message. If someone Pider give me a light which is the problem, I thank you.

The license file is write protected or your Windows user is not allowed to write into it.

My license is having issues updating apparently, because whenever I restart it and everyone joins two minutes later it disconnects and so I had to revert back to 32 slots.

My log says:

INFO    |           |   |License expired, but there is a new one available.. retrieving
Accounting    |   |Your license was updated by the licensing server
Accounting    |   |Licensing Information
Accounting    |   |Assertion "false" failed at ../../../../s/deps/teamspeak_server_lib/src/ts_server/server_accounting.cpp:538;

My file has root priveliges, so I don't know whats going on.

After two hours of removing the license and reverting back to 32 slots, all my clients disconnected. And it said "Failed to connect to server" the server did not restart it just blocked people from joining for 20 seconds, no other error was logged, just this.

Using server 3.0.13.6 on Linux

Don't know what to say yet about the timeouts. Seems to be a normal connection problem?

I gave it root to test, why the license isn't updating when it says it has. Server keeps crashing after two minutes, with the license.

The server tried to update it, but he could not, because the file was not writeable.
Trying to read the file results in that crash.

I am running TS 3.0.13.8 on freebsd 11. My server was shutting down with error [2017-09-16 17:40:50.842149|CRITICAL|Accounting | |Assertion "false" failed at ...]. I routed tcp port 2008 mentioned in another post, it did not help. The post also said to ping accounting.teamspeak.com, it doesn't accept pings. I finally downloaded the server on my windows install and copied the npl over, and it updated fine with no port routed at all. I then copied the npl back and all seems ok so far. How do I avoid this annoyance in the future?

I bet the server could not write the license file due the lack of permissions on your system.
But you have no log / removed details so this isn't more than a guess at the end.

I changed the directory permissions,I will find out in about 6 months. Thanks for the help!

Server 3.1 will not crash anymore. The server will shutdown with following error message.

Thanks! That'll probably save a lot more people from constant restarts.

Will it?
The server still shuts down and their script will try to restart the server.

The difference is a better user readable error message.
