    TeamSpeak Blocked in Country "Jordan"?

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums here, although I've been using TS3 for 5 years now.

Now to to get to the issues that i have, Yesterday i had no issue going to your websites or connecting to servers with TS3 client, but today out of nowhere i can't access your websites(I'm Using Tor Browser to access it), I've tried many PCs with same issue.

I tried to connect with mobile data and the websites are opening without any issues but TS3 doesn't connect to any servers yet.

Whenever i get back to my normal connection i won't be able to access your websites.

-I tried to check the firewall exceptions but everything was fine!

-I even Flushed the DNS, released it and renewed it, still the same.

-I even made a malware scan, nothing was there..

-tried to connect through Ethernet once and once by WiFi, still the same bloody issue.

-Tried to ping the Website addresses and they are fully responsive, but whenever i go to the websites they don't open..

-Tried to ping Servers addresses and they also respond normally too.

-tried to reinstall TS3 but obviously it's not only the Client that has connection issues so it was useless i can say.

I'm Using TunnelBear to fix the issue temporarily, But it's not convenient enough.

Is this problem from your side or my ISP side? or is it just the router? or what exactly is it?
    Any ideas? :/

    -Feras

    TeamSpeak Blocked in Country "Jordan"?

Hi all, just looking for help not sure what todo here, this is what happened..

I been using teamspeak in a community i am in for over 3 years. yesterday it was working fine till my ISP reset my connection for a few minutes which usually happpens alot. my ISP is orange.jo . after this reset, teamspeak no longer worked. I can't even view this forum without a vpn. every other site on http works fine, every other voice application i use also works fine such as mumble / discord / skype etc.

So my assumption is that my ISP had decided to block teamspeak. there is also another ISP called Zain here, they have been blocking teamspeak I suspect as well.

now I called the ISP, and they totaly denied this, they said it's from your end , what he means it's from the server or host end, how can i verify this?

I live in Jordan ( middle easy ) . why do they block teamspeak and not any other voice application this sounds strange to me as well...

I can't connect to any servers

I can't connect to any servers, not even teamspeak public. When I try ts public or any other server, this comes up:

<09:45:02> Trying to resolve hostname voice.teamspeak.com
<09:45:03> Trying to connect to server on voice.teamspeak.com
<09:45:09> Failed to connect to server
<09:46:04> Trying to connect to server on 149.202.65.197
<09:46:10> Failed to connect to server

I don't have any server logs to post, only client logs as so:

I'm not sure how it'd help in any way, but I'm out of ideas at this point. I can ping to the servers just fine and other programs like Curse work perfectly. It's only teamspeak I'm suffering with. If it helps, I run a Windows 7 32-bit and my firewalls are down. I can't connect to the website either unless I use tunnelbear.

    TeamSpeak Blocked/Banned In My Country?

Hello, I can not connect to any ts server or even the official website. Right now, I am using a VPN. not sure if TS is banned in my country or not but can you please check this problem out. I live in Amman, Jordan. It used to work a couple of weeks ago and now it doesn't. I don't want to keep using a VPN as it is hard for me because I am a server Administrator and I can't keep switching the VPN on and off when I talk to players in the TS. Please fix this or give me a solution.

Same issue here ( I'm from Jordan too )

Lol i swear that i laughed when i saw this , 2 hours ago i posted a thread about this , and still waiting the approve for it , i have the same issue , My ISP is Orange and i was talking to them for 30 min's to solve this and they were testing the connection , everything is good and in the right place , even so they said they will contact with me soon to check all the ADSL line .

The problem started 3 days ago when i was playing BF4 and sitting in teamspeak , suddenly teamspeak disconnected me for no reason , still don't know why , i tried everything , tested all the programs and there is access to them , the ports are allowed everything is right , but i tried to check teamspeak website to reach here but i could not for a reason which still don't know why ,after checking everything from my side i talked with Orange ( MY ISP ) and they said they will never do something like this and it maybe a temporary issue from Teamspeak servers , until now nothing happened and still can't access to any teamspeak server without VPN , even here i'm now connecting to VPN to check the forms to see if there is any help i can get .

Please if you found the issue let me know cuz i'm searching as you buddy , and happy to see someone from Jordann ( My country ) here =)

On my head buddy , on my head

    Same problem

Hey mate, I'm posting on behalf of a friend who also lives in Jordan, and he started having the same issues as you have 3 days ago or so.

Much like yourself, he cannot connect to any teamspeak server or even able to visit the official teamspeak website unless its through a VPN, and this pretty much started for him out of the blue 3-4 days ago as well. He tried everything you tried pretty much and to no avail. His tracert to teamspeak doesn't timeout at any hops and it appears to be normal as well.

Worth noting that his ISP is Orange. Any updates on your end?

reddit thread about it aswell : https://www.reddit.com/r/jordan/comm...ers_including/

This issue seems to be ONLY for Orange ISP users.

You can use "Betternet for Windows" VPN to connect with TS3 but you still won't be able to connect to the websites.

Just make sure that the country you are connected from is not Jordan, most likely will be the USA.

All i can tell you for sure:
TeamSpeak does not block anyone from any country.

Some countries force ISPs to block know VoIP programs and their websites and other known websites.
Jordan already is known for blocking Skype and other websites too.

Maybe a new law came into effect in your country.
Contact your ISP and read your laws if VoIP programs are blocked/forbidden.
