Why is this named and zipped different than before?
Before (example): teamspeak3-server_linux-amd64-3.0.11.4.tar.gz (tar gz)
Now: teamspeak3-server_linux_amd64-3.0.12.2.tar.bz2 (bz2)
Before: teamspeak3-server_linux-amd64 (with -)
Now: teamspeak3-server_linux_amd64 (with _)
Its not a bigger problem, but i think a lot of people do have their ts3 server root folder named teamspeak3-server_linux-amd64.
This already occured in 3.0.12 as far as I know. I really was surprised when building the RPM failed.
BZip2 however has a better compression than gunzip, even though it might not be too much what is saved in this case![]()
Server 3.0.12.3 was released.
--Re name changeCode:=== Server Release 3.0.12.3 4 march 2016 - fixed an other server crashes on malicious input
I don't know why the names of files and binary were changed.
These are internal changes effecting the binary and tar/zip name.

A server release has nothing to do with threats from others!
We do and they contact us every time.
I guess what they demand is nothing we will do. But that only belongs to the people above me and the developers.

Why did the posts talking about the unannounced release of 3.0.12.4 get removed? It was kind of weird a new version came out with a bugged crypto library without any details then the binaries were removed from 4players.de.
Simply pre-Server 3.0.12.4 has nothing to do with stable 3.012.3.
We did not even announce anything for a new server to be tested.
Bugreports got moved to bug section and off-topic deleted.

Hello,
Is it possible to get news (updated) by email?
I'd like to receive an email when a new version is available.
Thank you in advance :-) .
