Question TeamSpeak 3 stops sending my voice after a few minutes

    Hello,

I just bought a new microphone (a Samson Meteor to be exact) and when I'm on any TeamSpeak Server the mic works as it should but after a few minutes, TS just stops sending my voice! (The mic continues to work on every other program!)
The only way to temporarly fix this is to reconnect to the server but the same thing happens again!

There is no indication on my or the other side that my mic is muted - I only notice it when my mates say they can't hear me anymore!

I'm on Windows 7 with TS version 3.0.19.1

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks, TheJanzap

Please show us a client log (afteryour problem appeared again).
Update your drivers and try another USB port in case you have an USB Soundcard or headset.

    Hey Dante,

i have the exact same problem described by the topic creater and im about to throw my hole computer out of the window.

To give you a little bit more background info i'd like to list what i tried and give you a more 'in depth' description of the problem itself. (when/where it appears).

    First things first:

On the 4th of June i had problems with my PC running slowly and got stuck several times. There was no problems with either TS, my mic or my headset.
On the 5th of June i finally managed to 'hard reset' my pc (keeping personal data files).

    <my op>

log file of my client will be posted as i get the bug again.

So i kept downloading and installing the most of my previous programms. (including Teamspeak)

I set everything up in the client, Direct Sound, <Logitech Gaming Headset>, made sure that voice activation works fine and got ready for some overwatch with my friend. (Yes, after my hard reset i changed the USB-Port of my Logitech G430 from a regular 2.0 port to a 3.0 port since i unplugged one of my mices)

    Windows Settings for my Headset:
-Exclusive Mode for Programms turned off (so nothing can change these settings until i do it)
-Ohter settings are set to default.

So after starting 'Overwatch' we played for a couple of minutes and boom, problem above appaered. I nearly freaked out because if you hard reset your pc, you assume that everything works like back then. False.

So i played a bit around in the settings of the ts client, switched to Windows Audio Session to automatic and back to direct sound, and everything worked again.... for the next 15 minutes. After that, same problem.

I closed the client, somehow it froze while try to shutting it down (happened 3x to me allready)
Restarted it, and it worked again for the next 15 minutes.

As in the next 15 minutes while it worked, i played a bit around in the windows settings of my Gaming Headset/Mic and somehow the 'bug' or w/e you wanna call it, appeared right away. Not after the 15 minutes or so.

    What i've tried so far:
    - restarted my pc
    - reinstalled teamspeak (i also installed a 32bit version to check if it is a 64bit problem, currently running the 32bit version)
    - checked my mic and my headphones for driver updates
    - checked my mic in windows as the bug appeared (and it is activated, and works perfectly, but not in the ts client)
    - Exclusive Mode for Programms turned off so nothing can change these settings until i do it
    - checked if there is any update on my logitech gaming headset itself (firmware etc)

What i didnt try out so far:
    - update my usb port drivers
    - changed to another usb port (as you suggested).

    I'll keep you guys updated.

as i said, log will be posted as soon as i get the bug again.

    I guess it's fixed.

My USB ports drivers were up to date allready, so what really got it fixed was the driver update of my headset in the 'device management' (right click, update driver). Even though the logitech gaming software said that the headset was up to date anyways. Weird world.

+ i changed my usb port back to a normal 2.0 one.

I'm testing it now for about 1 and half hour and the bug did not appear again.
