Failed to Connect to Server from "Public, School, Work, University" Network

So i really want to be on my gangs official TS3 for arma 3, but when i'm trying to connect from my school i just get Failed to connect to server, and i was wondering maybe it's blocked or what?

It's common that VOIP services (or just out and incomming UDP traffic) are blocked in businnes, school , public and university networks.
Please contact your network administrator to get this solved (in case they don't block anyhing).

Hoping someone here can help me figure out what is happning. After returning to TS3 after a matter of hours I found that I could not connect to any of the servers I regularly go on. I have asked the IT engineers (im on uni internet BTW) and they replied "No recent network changes have been made" making me belive the problem was on my end so i reinstalled windows 10 and googled it alot, I still can't get it to work.

TLDR; I'm on uni internet, No recent network changes, reinstalled windows 10, nothing changed

Some Firewall systems prevent such connections.
Or some Antivirus blocked the UDP Traffic
You can try to restart your Router. ^^

So since I'm using university supplied internet I don't have physical access to the Router. I have just tried turning off both window defender and the PC's firewall then starting TS3, the servers in question still won't connect, I then restarted the PC the with both still disable and then tried TS3 again and still nothing. Does this mean that this is a network issue? If so is there anything i could ask the IT guys todo about it?

have you tried to connect via Mobile Phone? Have you the same Problem with it? If yes, they will blocked the UDP Traffic!
You can Contact the IT-Administrators to get the Problem solved.

I tried the mobile client and can't connect to any servers through it meaning this is certainly a network issue. Any suggestion on what I should be asking IT admins to do? Since it's just 2 servers not working would i ask about opening their respective ports?

Hello there Internet,

this situation bugs me endlessly. I've no clue how to move on.

Situation is this: I started studying and im living in the student dorm, i access to the campus internet, insanely fast up and down and most connections work fine. Im dialing in with my University credentials.

Things like websites and games like WoW and Gauntlet (2014) work fine.

VoiP like Discord and Ts3 arent working(and Ts is crucial for my WoW-time).

Currently i am able to ping the Ts3 servers aswell as Ts3 adresses like accounting. I'm also able to resolve hostnames.
But any time i try to connect all it says is "Failed to connect to server"


Please help me! im going mad.
