    Right only on some channel

    Hello,

    I explain my little problem.

    Say we have a group of peronne consist of A, B and C
    And a group composed of D / E / F
    And we have channels like this:

    Channel M
    -Subchannel N
    -Subchannel O

    Channel P
    Q -Subchannel
    -Subchannel R

    I would give the right to Kick, Ban, Move to another person in the channel and Subchannel are assigned (Let M, N, O).
    And when A may manage B and C when they are in M / N / O only.

    I would like if possible also that A can only change M / N / O but not P / Q / R.

    But it's not over, it is necessary that D can do the same with E and F but with the channel P / Q / R without access to M / N / O.

    A-F are clients?
    Group 1 of clients A-C
    Group 2 of clients D-F

    Say what?
    Guessing that you want one particular client of each of the groups to kick/ban/move others of their group within their channel structure?

    The following is not 100% sure as I haven't tested this myself yet.

    You should be able to do that by carefully constructing and using channel groups.
    You'd have two groups "Section Member" and "Section Admin"

    You'd give Section Member to B and C in M (they'll automatically have the in N and O too since they're subchannels if you set them to Guest in those channels). You'd also give the same group to D and E but in channel P (and set to guest in the subchannels so they get it in the subchannels too).
    You'd give Section Admin to A in M and to D in Q (again set to guest in the subchannels if they aren't yet, so they inherit from the parent channel).

    Then you can set the Section Admin groups permissions to have:
    i_client_kick_from_server_power = 20
    i_client_move_power = 20
    i_client_ban_power = 20

    Then you set the Section Member groups permissions to have:
    i_client_needed_kick_from_server_power = 20
    i_client_needed_move_power = 20
    i_client_needed_ban_power = 20

    You may have to include the needed powers in the Section Admin group as well if the server group doesn't specify those already.
    When sending PMs please make sure to include a reference link to the thread in question in the body of your message.

    Yes that's right !

    I in fact wish to define a customer "admin" for their channel structure (M / N / O) without being able to act on another structure (P / Q / R).

    My idea would be admin client A to M / N / O only. It can then move, kick, ban, etc within this structure without having any influence on the rest of the server (Example kick someone in the Q sub-channel).

    sorry for my bad English, I am not bilingual :'(
