    The whole thing has been approved *finally*

    We even did not know that linking to css files was possible on that way.
    We will see if we can do anything here and will report back when we have news or questions.

    Hi,

    problem seems to have been that our expanded search paths (e.g. "styles:foo/bar.png") are ignored for style/import and <link> HTML elements. I don't know exactly why, this is mostly Qt inside stuff and I only scratched on the surface of the Qt code trying to debug it.

    As workaround, I added the %APPDATA%\TS3Client folder to the search path for the Info Frame widget, so the following will now work:
    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
        @import url('styles/BuG/style.css');
    </style>
    The cooler solution would have been to get the syntax "styles:/BuG/style.css" working, to keep it the same as for images. But I cannot figure out how to make Qt do that for <style> and <link> elements. However, I suppose the above syntax is also a working resolution for the issue.

    Btw, in pre-3.1 clients this more or less accidentially worked because Qt looked into the application path, so the URL "styles\BuG\style.css" found the right file. But with the themes moved over to %APPDATA% this was no longer the case, so I had to explicitly add %APPDATA%\TS3Client to the search path.

    Sorry for the late reply, but trying to figure out why styles:foo/style.css was ignored took way longer than the actual fix...

    Above fix will be available with beta-4

    PS: You are using 'Styles/BuG/style.css' with a capital "Style". While this is somewhat irrlevant on Windows, you may want to change it to "styles" for Linux/OS X compatibility.

    Super!
    I can imagine fixing something that accidentially worked is a pain in the ass.
    Thanks for the solution! As soon as the new update is available I'll also change back the theme and will take your advise into account.

    Beta 4 was relased today and includes the fix.

    Please note the syntax with "styles:BuG/styles.css" will NOT work for @import and <link> to import CSS files, unlike for images etc. This is a Qt limitation.
    So for images, use "styles:BuG/img.png", for CSS imports use "styles/BuG/style.css"

    Question

    @Brady_The Would you share your test server channel structure with other style devs?
