    Longer Channel Names.

When i make spacers for my TS3 server i hit a character limit for channel name. Is their a way to increase the character limit for Channel and sub-channel names?

I do not believe there is a way to increase the character limit for channels or spacers.

You need to use [*spacer0] (message) to make it display across the screen.

As explained from Sheepy, the maximum length of a channel or nickname is hardcoded and can't be changed.

Are there any plans to lift that limit (atm around 30 or so) to a higher number, like 50 - 60 in the near future (3.1)?

Since alot of bigger Ts3 Servers often using bots to announce events or status like "Website/Server X is offline/online" in channels, so a few more characters would be well appreciated I guess.

It's not planned to increase the value for the lenngth.

Such announcemenents can be done in several ways already and should be done there (sorted in priority):
    1. Server or instance wide chat messages
    2. Channel or private messages
    3. Host message of server
    4. Welcome message of server
    5. Short Channel names like "News 2016.09.15" + content in the channel description. So the user knows if there is something new.
