Force Teamspeak3 to use ipv4 only

    Good Morning from

We currently have teamspeak3 (actually gameservermanager) deployed via a docker container and have done for some time. Recently we have had reports from users using the container - on nix OS's that don't support IPv6 - indicating that the server won't start.

What we would like to do is force the server to use ipv4 only. Research so far has not been forthcoming with the answer.

I understand that you might not formally support gamservermanager versions but if anyone is able to offer the method for doing this or a suggestion it would be appreciated?

Thanks for your time in advance!

IPv6 is not supported on a linux system? It's hard to believe.

Could it be that it was disabled?
They should have at least a link local address beginning with fe80..... on their system, when their is no IPv6 in our around their network.

Does it help, when these users activate it in their system.
or when they start the server without the ipv6 paramters?

This is how you force the server to search and use IPv4 adresses only.
This variant would search for iPv4 and IPv6 adresses
