Disable Query / Unknown user join my server

    Hello fellow teamspeak users,

I recently started hosting servers with my linux vps, everything is working fine but I'd love to disable the query login for my servers.

    Is that possible?

    Thank you very much.

Do not open port 10011 TCP or close it.
Nobody from outside will be able to use the ServerQuery.

Someone keeps harassing my TS3 by joining in and out all day, how can I ban them?

Do as post 2 & 3 tell you
Or put the IP on the blacklist.txt.
Or unregister from the service that uses the IP.

You have these 4 options to stop that.

Why can't I stop this person from entering?

I have never banned anyone before and I am not exactly how it works, but this person is entering and exiting with different accounts it seems.

It's no client. It's a ServerQuery and this can't get banned that way.

    See post 2,3 or 5. :/

It's explained there. If you cannot do that, don't host a server.

I never done this before? So no, I do not understand what you guys typed. I am sure providing the steps would take a minute for you instead of being rude.

I wouldn't say he's rude; I'd say he's protecing you and the rest of the world against people who think they know how to host a server becuase they can locate the power button on most devices.

and whats wrong with teaching someone, something they don't know? If you didn't know cooking terms when I tell you them, I am not going to be like, maybe you shouldn't cook.

I still want outsiders able to enter the server, just a certain ip banned.

Just add the IP into the blacklist.txt. This file can be found in your server folder.
This will block the ip from using the ServerQuery after around 10 minutes.

All users will still be able to join the voice server (the server you connect with your client).

    Completely unnecessary.

Go into Settings and ebable "Advanced Permission System".

Then Go into the Perm System to the ServerGroups. And then:
Goto Client -> Modify -> "Create a ServerQuery Account" and deny it/take the perm away.
Do this with all Groups that you dont want to see in your Query.

    Done.

EDIT: You can give yourself the QueryAdmin with the Query, then you can see the Query Groups "Admin" and "Guest". Then you can also deny the Query-Guest login.

This will not solve the issue
