Maybe, that becomes hard for the developers![]()
hi,
i am the owner of a sheevaplug too and would like to have a ts3 server running on it too!
most nas and energy-saving embedded devices use arm processors and are perfect as home-teamspeak servers.
as klaus1978 already said arm little endian is something completly different than x86. but it is supported by most linux distributions. standard build utils exist and even crosscompile should be easy. i have a standard debian running on my sheevaplug and all i am missing is a teamspeak 3 server!
would be great if arm little endian could be supported!
thanks!
I hope the arm progress is getting started next time.![]()
And I hope the arm little endian version will be released soon.![]()
Somehow I'm guessing they arent interested in this port...![]()
Itīs a pity if the administrator are thinking like this.
The arm CPU is more popullar and much users have arm server and they would be happy about a ts3 linux arm server.
Greetings Klaus
i just tested crosscompiling for arm-little-endian.. its real easy with ct-ng!
please, please, please, release a arm-little-endian-ts3-client!
Where did you get the sources from?
Btw: I still hope that someone of the developers gives us a commetn on a possible arm-port![]()
i dont have the ts3 source..
i cross compiled a helloworld first and then compiled a bigger open source program.
Ive got an qnap ts119 and would like to have an arm port aswell!!
Thanks Mark
Could some admin comment on this thread?
I can't say it will be ported.
It's not planned before final release.
Maybe Dev's will discuss about it after Final release!
I would known if it is scheduled to compile an arm version of Tspeak server ?
I have a Plug Computer running night and day under Debian squeeze and I would prefer install all server softwares in it....
Thanks
