I was toying with some settings and I think I removed "grant" permissions from my guest group by accident... I've tried resetting it as you can see from my permissions attachment but I still can't seem to add people back into the default guest group :/

    Any ideas?

This group is messed up and user can add themself Admin Status!
Remove Member Add power, permission modify power , group modify power and all Grant Values from the Guest group as soon as possible!

None of these should be set in the Guest group.

I suggest to reset the Guest group to default permissions.

    Only reset one group

It's normal that the Guest group is greyed out, when User has a server group set.
The default server group can not be set. You have to remove server groups fromm user and the user will her Guest group from server.
