TeamSpeak functions to add and fix! The TeamSpeak server list and more...

    Hi,

i think it is a time for a new generation of teamspeak 3!

    for developers:

+ Advanced permissions system like more permissions for server/channel groups
+ A better protection against "cracked" licenses as an example must be entered with an ATHP / AAL license a verify key or whatever //
A very good job is the Greylist!

The server list (weblist.teamspeak.com) this is the biggest bug!
1.) Sorting is by region! It was intended for clients / slots. Show the screenshot:
2.) The sorting goes after city! It was intended for clients / slots.
The problem is only, eg Germany it only goes to Karlsruhe then the
          First "100" server.

          (With standard filter)

    Sort by country is correct!

This is the biggest bug of TeamSpeak:

This is by planetteamspeak because I have the same filter as the TeamSpeak Client! This is right on planetteamspeak.com:

ScP (Sven P.) did everything right! [Good Job!]
    Visit on https://www.planetteamspeak.com/serv...lt/country/DE/

Although it has a delay of about 1-2 hours but the filter of the server list (Planet TeamSpeak) is correct! But it is understandable that it is a 1-2 hours sync. Delay. It is because it is queried by the TeamSpeak database and then loaded to it.

    with best regards,

The web version has all the servers cached, and sorts before sending it to you.
The Client version receives a selection of 100 random servers that match the filters (which is different than sorting - sorting is not a filter!) and then sorts the received list locally.
That explains the difference in results, the 100 servers the client received didn't include the official public server so it wasn't displayed.
When sending PMs please make sure to include a reference link to the thread in question in the body of your message.

There are currently about 250 (!) permissions (+ as much GRANTs) in Teamspeak - and you want even more ??

There is no 100 % protection in IT. Any software can be manipulated.
So the Greylist is something good indeed.

A real permanent ban would be the dream of every text chat, voice chat, forum, cms, blog etc. ,but its impossible.
There are always ways to avoid it.

Given that not everyone will be using a cracked client, this however seems possible for TeamSpeak.
