    Maximum filesize of addon filepacks

What is the maximum filesize for filepacks in the addon system?

I assumed, it'd be 30 MB, so I stripped down my packages to at most 30 MB (27,6 MB to be precise). But still, all I get is a http error 413 (request entity too large). Is there only a file limit or even a "version limit" (the sum of all filepacks for all platforms)?

Would be nice, if users could see this max size on the upload page. It's very frustrating uploading 5 files with small bandwidth only to be greeted with a http error.

    Hi Thomas,

We are working on this issue. Currently the limit is 32 mb for all packages combined. This should soon be 32mb per package. Our apologies for the inconvenience in the mean time.

    Any news on this topic?

What is your policy about plugins which download content (not from myteamspeak)? So for example packaging the minimum to a ts3plugin package which will be available over the myteamspeak addons. When downloaded and activated, the plugin will download the rest from other sources.

The limit should be 100mb already.

Downloading extra content from a second location may sound as a good workaround but it could be abused to easily.
I personally would not trust software that does that after it was installed already.

But does this violate your addon policy? Will my addon get rejected?

Ye got informed already that I received wrong informations yesterday (but it should have been 100mb already). Sorry.
This topic was bumped in a meeting and should be solved soon. I/We will post when the limit is now 100mb.

I think they will get rejected. My reply was a "No we do not want that addons do that".
