    SRV Problem: "Failed to connect to server"

    We currently host our servers through a shared network, and it works fine. I've attached the IP and the port to the sub-domain, thus meaning I have had to add a new host / SRV record into my domain.

    It works, however joining is not always 100%. It has a high percentage rate of "[Failing] to connect to server", but will connect sometimes, like this:

Size:  587.5 KB

    Running a TeamSpeak server, I can't have people joining with the sub-domain to connect and failing, and having to retry until they get in. I need them to be able to connect 100% of the time using the sub-domain. That said, here's what my sub-domain records look like(the URL's are correct, because like I said, I can connect sometimes):

    Here's what my DNS options look like:

    Any help is appreciated, thank you.

    How should we help you if you censor all important information?

    the important information is just my IP to the TeamSpeak server, my website URL and my website url with the sub-domain attached to it (ts.*websiteurl*.com). It's not needed, and like I said in my post, the URL's are correct, because like I said, I can connect sometimes therefore, it's not my urls that are the problem and are not needed.

    Have you read this thread?
    https://support.teamspeakusa.com/ind...ns-srv-records

    Have you added a SRV record for our TSDNS server?
    Have you configured our TSDNS server?

    I use this DNS configuration
    Code:
    sub.domain.extension A *teamspeak-ip-address*
    _ts3._udp.domain.extension. SRV 0 5 *voice port* sub.domain.extension.
    _ts3._udp.sub.domain.extension. SRV 0 5 *voice port* sub.domain.extension.
    _tsdns._tcp.domain.extension. SRV 0 5 *tsdns port* sub.domain.extension.
    _tsdns._tcp.sub.domain.extension. SRV 0 5 *tsdns port* sub.domain.extension.
    and this TSDNS configuration
    Code:
    domain.extension=NORESPONSE
    sub.domain.extension=*teamspeak-ip-address*
    *.domain.extension=NORESPONSE
    This configuration allows you and other to connect to the server only with a subdomain for example ts3.domain.extension

    I can connect to the teamspeak with the domain (e.g ts.*mydomain*.com, works) It just sometimes fails when connecting, so it's not 100%.

    I guess help is not needed then either.

    I think this is a problem from registrar, maybe the propagation of the DNS.

    Try to move the DNS configuration on Cloudflare, disable traffic through Cloudflare on all record.
