    Error

Good afternoon, excuse my lack of English. I wanted to request technical support for TeamSpeak3 for Ubuntu/Linux 12.04. I managed to install it without problem and without errors but when trying to open TeamSpeak3 does not do it. I already have it in this version of Ubuntu/Linux but when uninstalling it and reinstalling it I can not open it anymore. I await your response. Regards!

    TeamSpeak version 3.1.0.1.

I have the exact same problem, does anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same issue, I had teamspeak working fine for ages but it kept bugging me with an update button so I gave in and I can't load it up any more.

    Hi,

I had some problems of this myself, but it was caused by obsolete graphics.

Try opening it in terminal, and see what kind of errors you get.

If it looks somewhat like this:
    Code:
libGL error: unable to load driver: r600_dri.so
libGL error: failed to load driver: r600
libGL error: unable to load driver: swrast_dri.so
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
It's OpenGL related, and here is my solution for it:

    1. Open up your TS3 client folder
    2. Make a new folder(call it whatever you'd like, but don't delete it)
    3. Move "libgcc_s.so.1" & "libstdc++.so.6" from the teamspeak folder into this new folder(don't copy, move)
    4. Try launching ts3client_runscript.sh now

This did the trick for me, as it forces your OS to use the system libraries for the rendering, and not the bundled ones.

If it doesnt work, just move them back, as you haven't deleted them.

I registered for this forum, for the sole reason of posting my solution to this. As I'm sure someone other than me, will run into it eventually.

I would appreciate any feedback, if it works or not.

    Regards,
    Glriuz

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I did not find those files or anything like that name.

Try opening teamspeak through terminal, and see what kind of errors you get.

I know this error from my virtual machine in Virtual Box and it appears when 3d acceleration is disabled.

    My thoughts to this:
The client will not start when your hardware only renders in 2D. This seems to be a requirement on Linux for our OpenGL.
