    Cloudflare - Potential data leak

Today Cloudflare announced they leaked data from a small percentage of encrypted HTTP connections. Cloudflare is a global player in DDoS protection that is used by over 2 million websites, including TeamSpeak. Even if you do not notice it, chances are you are using it a lot. We therefore recommend that you change your password on the MyTeamSpeak website and on the teamspeak.com forum. We also recommend that you change your passwords on all other sites that use Cloudflare.

Cloudflare stated that the leak occurred in about 0.00003% of all requests. This means the chances that it involves your data are pretty low. Even if it did, it is unlikely that someone used this to steal data from you.

The following potentially sensitive information runs through Cloudflare: MyTeamSpeak and our forum. For MyTeamSpeak hashed versions of your passwords could in theory have leaked. We therefore recommend that you change your MyTeamSpeak password using the TeamSpeak Client -> Options -> Tools -> myTeamSpeak -> Change password. Note that your actual password is not leaked, it was never sent to us. For the forum, your password may have been leaked. Please change that too.
