Can't add user to channel or server groups as Server Admin

    Hi

I've created a server by myself and I am having some problems with the "Server Groups" permissions.

I am the server admin, but I am unable to change anyone's "Server Group" status. When I right click my name and go to "Set Server Group", all options are greyed out, while "Server Admin [perm]" is ticked. See attached screenshot.

I've edited the permissions a bit, trying to duplicate this setup: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDzk2KbYcVk

Any help on this matter is appreciated.

You're also set as channel admin for some reason.

If you're a server admin, there's no point in being a channel admin, too (for this scenario).

Channel groups override server groups. I bet your channel admin group's member add/remove power is lower than the needed power for those server groups.

Make sure your Server Admin group has permission b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions enabled to avoid that a channel group overwrites permissions from your Server Admin.

Or set the Skip flag on permission i_group_member_add_power if you don't want to use permission b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions.

The b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions was enabled and it didn't help. It didn't help either when I selected "skip" i_group_member_add_power.

When I remove my channel group admin status, then it is all working.

Any other suggestion on how to solve this without removing channel admin status?

    b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions is enabled.
    I tried skipping i_group_member_add_power.
    Neither worked.

When I remove my channel admin status, then it works.

Do you have any other suggestion on how to make my channel admin status not overwrite my server admin status?

Why do you need channel admin if you already have server admin?

Your client permissions have no Skip flag set (value is 0) and allow channel or channel groups to overwrite following permissions.

    Code:
    Client
    	Zash
    		i_group_modify_power 75 0
    		i_group_member_add_power 75 0
    		i_group_member_remove_power 75 0
    		i_permission_modify_power 75 0
For numma: Yes there is an unfixed bug in the permissions overview, when client permissions have no skip flag set.

I wrote client permissions have no Skip Flags.
Client permissions overwrite server group permissions.

Add the Skip Flag in shown client permissions or add b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions as client permission.
OR remove the client permissions and let your server group do the work.

The bold red word is exactly what you need.

Cant assign server permission in some channels

As the title says, I can not give or take away a permission from a client unless they are in the default channel that exists when you start a ts3 server.
