    Privilege Key always invalid.

    Hey guys,
So I am running through a new installation on a CentOS 7 VPS and I keep getting "invalid key" once entering into the server.
I have now done this 5 times and everytime I get invalid key. In the past, I just waited for a few hours and suddenly it worked, but this time it hasn't. Furthermore, my server query password also does not work, so I cannot take the steps to repair this issue.

Any ideas? It is extremely irritating and I really don't know how to remedy the situation.

I guess the server just did generate the key and you did copy it from the dialog?
How does the key you enter look like?
Are you sure you havn't used the key already?

This is how I directly copied the key from the command line to notepad.
This is the 5th time now, so I could manually reset, but I would just prefer to figure out what is the issue here so I don't have to keep taking these extra steps, especially since my server query info is also not valid/working. Just extremely stuck right now

The message on your screen looks like it should.
The only thing I can imagine here when password and key do not work (even after resetting it 5 times) -> You are connecting to wrong server.

Have you tried to use the server IP+Port for a connection?

Yes, this is infact the correct connection.
I should also specify, these issues haven't occured on the same machines, each time it has been a different VPS, just all running CentOS 7. The 5 issues were spread across 3 different machines, 3 of the times I did the install waiting a few hours after the key was generated to use it worked, but on this machine that has not been the case.

It should take 1-10 seconds till you see the password and the key.

Can you test out my attached database?

    Code:
    Key: qGxrRdQia9EvMBmACRFDJRWROw69Kq6xEJkm+qGY
    Serverquery password: 29DEWYw6

    This makes no sense :/
It's like the server does not understand what you send him or your keyboard sends more than the key/password.

I have no clue what it could be.

Could it be that your server prints a warning in log 0?

    Hey Dante, appreciate the help.
I elected to just move to Ubuntu, and that worked fine, my suspicion is that MariaDB on CentOS has some issues with installation, if anyone runs into this issue in the future, try switching the OS.
