    Changes in my.cnf getting problems

    Hello,
    I changed the line bind-adress = 127.0.0.1 to the internet-IP because I need an SSH-Tunnel to connect to the database from extern. But than the ts3-server gives the message: can't connect to the database.
    When I changed the my.cnf back, restarted the database, it works again. Changing the line in the database-connection file of the ts3-server didn't resolve the problem.

    This is the part of the my.cnf
    [mysqld]
    skip-name-resolve
    bind-address = 127.0.0.1
    local-infile = 0

    I changed the bind-adress to the internet-adress of the server.

    This is the ts3server.ini
    machine_id=4711
    licensepath=
    default_voice_port=9987
    voice_ip=0.0.0.0
    filetransfer_port=30033
    filetransfer_ip=0.0.0.0
    query_port=10011
    query_ip=0.0.0.0
    dbplugin=ts3db_mariadb
    dbpluginparameter=ts3db_mariadb.ini
    dbsqlpath=sql/
    dbsqlcreatepath=create_mariadb/
    logpath=logs/
    logquerycommands=0
    query_ip_whitelist=query_ip_whitelist.txt
    query_ip_blacklist=query_ip_blacklist.txt
    query_skipbruteforcecheck=0

    And this is the ts3db_mariadb.ini
    [config]
    host=127.0.0.1
    port=3306
    username=TS3-User
    password=TS3-Password
    database=TS3-Database
    socket=

    I tried changing the host from 127.0.0.1 to the internet-ip. Doesn't help.

    So, what do I have to change?

    Regards
    Thorsten

    Have you tried

    bind-address = 0.0.0.0

    in my.cnf?
