Simply because there is no information provided for anyone to possibly say anything meaningful.

Please check the log files and post the complete log file of the client here.
You can find the logs in %AppData%\TS3Client\logs or in InstallDir\config\logs where "InstallDir" is the path you installed the client in to. There should also be a folder called crashdumps. Please attach the last crashdump file as well if there are any.
When sending PMs please make sure to include a reference link to the thread in question in the body of your message.

merged these threads. We'll take a look again at those dumps.
In the meantime you can try and see if the current beta version works:
Tools -> Options -> Application. Select Update Channel: Beta. Ok
Help -> Check for Updates -> Yes

Well, it crashes on startup, so there's no way to do it.

Program doesn't start. It appears on task manager for a second, then disappears.

    Hi Cutie,
    sorry for the delay.

First, please backup your settings (safety first).
They can be found, depending on your choice during installation in eiter %APPDATA%\TS3Client (just paste into an explorer path, it'll go to C:\Users\your_username etc.) or in [ApplicationInstallDir]\config.

Then, you can download the beta 3.1.5 client installer here and simply install it over the the current stable, or uninstall the current one first - whatever you prefer.

Now, that crash of yours is unfortunately quite deep in the code, meaning the beta1 hasn't fixed the issue yet - but it should exit with an error code instead (somewhat like Critical encryption error: Failed to init: [error nummer]), shown via a message box and in your client log.
To find out what really causes this problem and hopefully fix it, we'd need this error code.

The program doesn't start at all, and it doesn't create any files in that directory. The stable build will, but the beta just doesn't do anything.
