    force push to talk bypass

i have 3 rooms I want to set to push to talk (I know how to do this).

Room 1) push to talk only. group "commander" can NOT voice activate
Room A) ONLY group "commander" can voice activate
Room B) ONLY group "commander" can voice activate

in rooms A and B I want a group to be able to talk with voice activation if they choose.
I can bypass the forced push to talk with b_client_skip_channelgroup_permissions on the selected group.
however this also lets them bypass push to talk in Room 1 which I want purely push to talk

is there a way around what I want to do in a different way ??

    Thanks for any help!!

I have tried and thought about it for like an hour.
Seems not possible. You can not except "force ptt" to be not active since its by default not active.
And there is no toggle button a user could be granted to use via the permission system, unlike priority talker.
    IMO the scenario ainīt possible.

The only way to "bypass" this is by giving your commander permission modify power so he could edit his own rights when needed.
    But lacks the elegance

Why you don't set it only for the channel? (you can set b_client_force_push_to_talk) So in you PTT Channel you force it, in the other channels not.

If you have mainly PTT activated on your Server, well yeah then it would be hard to reedit all the channels, but i think that would be the only working solution.

This could be handled with channel permissions coupled against channel group or channel client permissions.
Have the channels with b_client_force_push_to_talk set to true on all three channels.

If the "commanders" is a server group consider if the options of how many members and which channel groups they are in, within each of the second and third channels (A and B).
Either manually assign a b_client_force_push_to_talk set to false on channel-client permissions (probably the most accurate way to achieve the goal, if maybe time consuming if many clients), or use relevant channel group(s) to do this, or if need be create more channel groups.

If you wish for specific advice, send me a PM.
