TeamSpeak FAQ || What should i report, when i open a client thread?
Would be really nice if my Teamspeak 3 client could finally update itself without literally bricking the client to the point that I need to reinstall the whole thing from scratch to make it work (Windows 7 64 bit)
This is the second/third time it has happened and quite frankly this is becoming beyond irritating...
Here a screenshot from one of our members with a 4k monitor. He has 3.1.5 and the server is 3.0.13.8
That's how it look on his client atm.
All server group icons are old 16x16px png files
Still some are rendered small and some are rendered big. Same for channel icons (default teamspeak design).
Is this intended or a bug?
Edit: Also found this:

The Client tooltips gets relocated when moving alonge a client, the channel tooltips not.
Could you explain what broke?
Did the updater cancel the update or what?
Most of what i see is intended since your buddy does use the TeamSpeak origin icon pack.
These icons are not compatible with 2k/3K/4K etc. and will show up as 16x16 and will break other icons in the same line.
Selecting the TeamSpeak Colored or Mono icon pack should fix that.
edit after Dimos did edit his post
This Tooltip reloads because the online time from the user was updated.
I never did test that with channels and user slots. I will check that tomorrow.
Update
The channel tooltip also jumps when user count changed.

Even the channel commander from R2-D2 (first row of the pic) ?
Next "complain" would be a option to disable the tooltips completely, since they can get annoying were fast, because the are staying active if you hover over a person/channel for longer and then start scrolling.
My teamspeak crashes on start up every time scince I moved to 3.1.5 version.
Earlier this year same crashes had been appearing when I was on beta updates channel, but I moved back to stable channel, every thing was okay on 3.1.4 version. Now when 3.1.5 version came to stabile channel crashes came back. Underneath are logs and crashdumbs.

Yes the channel commander icon is only 16x16 in the old icon pack.
The blue icons on the other users are 32x32.
I already had the complain on my list.

It could be that a plugin does crash the client. I can't validate this without a developer at this moment.
Does the client still crash, when you start it with parameter -safemode ?
You can add the parameter in the shortcut. you need to right click on the shortcut and select Properties.

I really do not like how you increased group ions. Please return the size of 16x16, thanks!
These colors depend on the theme that you use.
You have to change the theme under Tools -> Options -> Design to change the colors. Our System Default doesn't have colored chat.

Could you explain the advantage of the new "tool tip feature" when you hoover over a client or a channel?
It is a way faster to click onto a client/channel than wait for the tool tip to pop up. The shown information is also redundant - so for what do i need this feature?
Is there a way to disable this annoying popup/tool tip?
It's a minimal info dialog and you don't have to click on tree items to get information.
And user can minimize the info dialog to make their client smaller or the server tree bigger in it's width.
I doubt that clicking is faster.
The client loads the data and prints them into the channel/client info dialog after you clicked it.
Now the client loads the data before you clicked on the channel or client.
There is no official way yet. But after the feedback we decided to add an option or to improve this.
The only way to deactivate it temporary is to delete the tree_tooltip_client.tpl and the tree_tooltip_channel.tpl.

If I may ask a question, does an administrator need to be running a certain version of the server client to enable using svg based icons? Our community's hosted server is running 3.0.13.6 Windows
