Is there an option server side to disable people from displaying badges?
Showing or hiding badges are client settings for the own client only.
Nobody can disable badges from other users.

Hey there!
So Gamescom is just over and almost everyone on my standart TeamSpeak has a Badge. So far so good - i just get kinda annoyed by all of these Icons. Is it possible to diable them? Or are they just there forever?

Tools -> Options -> myTeamSpeak -> Badges -> Configure Badges -> Drag and Drop Badges from 'Active badges' to 'Available badges', and vice versa
I may did misunderstand your question in case you only wanted to disable own badges.
You can disable own badges as explained in post above.

So, now my own Badge is gone. But is it possible to disable them for all Users at once? I don't want to take them away but i just don't wanna see them anymore. Is this possible?

It's just absolutly annoying to see tons of these Badges. Are they going to be disabled one day?
And is it possible to get a new feature that makes this a thing? I mean the personal disabled badges?

An option for server admins to disable these is essential in my opinion.
There are a lot of communities on teamspeak that use tags to identify roles, ranks, qualifications, etc, etc, and having these extra badges visible is annoying for these communities.

I'd like to vote for server-side disable option as well. We are doing our best to keep the channel tree tag-clutter-free and those client controlled tags DO NOT HELP.

@dante why not make a clientside toggle just like with the overwolf icons?

I'd like to be able to ban badges from the channel tree and move them to the client info frame instead. They are still somewhat useful (at least the add on developer ones) but not important enough to clutter the channel tree.
To me it seems that badges have basically become sort of an ePenis and I'm beyond the age where I need to compensate my lack of self confidence by having as many meaningless little icons as possible.
