    TeamSpeak 3 "convert error"

    Hello TeamSpeak Community!

    So, some weeks ago I found myself more and more crashes when using teamspeak.
    After some research I found out, that it has something to do with the program used in this Video:
    Link to illegal tool removed.

    I'm seriously annoyed by my teamspeak getting crashed every few minutes, so I want to help you to fix this.
    Apparently it has something to do when converting the received Ping data to a Integer.

    It'd be really nice if you could take a look at it, and maybe even patch it.

    We are aware of that tool and it's not an exploit so far.
    This whole thing is still under evaluation.

    Someone did something not so legal to our software and is now abusing it. I can't go into details here.

    Client Connection Info

    An Unknown User has created a removed that will disconnect you from a server when clicking "Client Connection Info" (or middle click).
    It does not crash the client, just disconnects the current server.

    The Client Log reads:
    25/12/2017 23:46:25 SCHandler Warning Error while parsing packet: convert error
    25/12/2017 23:46:25 ClientUI Info Connect status: Disconnected
    25/12/2017 23:46:25 ClientUI Info Disconnected from server, no autoreconnect: convert error

    I currently do not have any further information

    v3.1.7 Client (Windows), 3.0.13.6 Server (Linux)

    Edit: Apparently, I cannot click on the Root Item of the channel tree (the virtual server). It disconnects my client aswell with the same message.
    Also, it does not properly disconnects, my client stays online until the server hits the connection timeout.
    It starts working as soon as said user disconnects from the server

    Timeout after looking at Client Connection

    Hello,

    i need help. Im the Owner of a Public Teamspeak Server and its at the Version 3.0.13.8.

    But before some minutes 20 france teamspeak bots connect to my Teamspeak Servedrs. I and my Admin Team want to ban this Bots, but if you want to see the IP -Adresse (Client Information) and we all timed out. We all have the same error in client log:

    Bug convert error TeamSpeak 3

    Hello everyone.

    Unfortunately there are users using an illegal tool to kick all players TeamSpeak 3 server with the kick message is "convert error" one ban them and change the ip as if nothing and re-run that tool.

    I hope that a fix will come out afterwards since I can not use my server well thanks to that bug

    Client 3.1.8 (not released yet) will handle this problem and not disconnect any longer.
