    I cant connect to my server "gameservers.com"

    I'm new to teamspeak, starting about a month ago. Since two days ago, I can no longer connect to the team's server (ts24.gameservers.com:9156). I carefully checked the spelling and password, several times. I uninstalled and reinstalled teamspeak. Reboot. Flushed DNS. Nothing has worked. None of my other teammates have a problem. Nothing has changed with the address or password, it simply stopped working one day.

    I am able to connect to the teamspeak test server, no problem. My Client log is posted below. Does anyone have any other ideas to help solve my problem?

    The server is running for me and asks me for a passowrd.
    Please try to connect to 64.38.198.136:9156 instead the dns address.
    When sending me private messages: Please make sure to include reference link to your forum thread or post.

    I cant connect to my clans's TS server but the other members can

    It started happening yesterday and i have been using the TS server for over a year now.

    My ISP is Verizon Fios and I live in southern california. Our TS address is ts2.gameservers.com:9197

    heres the client log where i tried connecting to the TS test server and then to my clan's server.

    cant log on to TS3 clan server

    i cant join my clans teamspeak server idk what going on i unistalled 2 time and everything and it not working this is what im getting

    Your DNS lookup failed, but I can look it up with no problems (it resolves to 8.9.36.41, which you can use as long as the problem exists).
    Please ask your ISP for help if this does not go away within 24 hours. You can try pressing Windows+R and execute this: ipconfig /flushdns

    This is a personal technical problem and not related to TeamSpeak in ANY way. Therefore it is not a bug.

    Can't Connect to server

    I can't seem to connect to my team's server. It keeps saying:

    Try to use the IP address instead the domain name.

    There seems this hoster has some problems with his network.
    But we are not the support for this one. Please contact him.

    Can't Connecct to Server

    When I'm trying to connect, it says:
    <18:46:39>  Trying to resolve hostname ts21.gameservers.com
    <18:46:42>  Failed to resolve hostname 'ts21.gameservers.com'

    I'm not sure what to do about this.

    Hi there, I'm using the latest Mac version for TS. Just yesterday I had an issue with the TS Server that I'm a regular on. I was disconnected, and then was not able to reconnect. I also TS installed on another machine at another location, but for windows, and I was able to connect to this server just fine.

    Today, I'm still unable to connect to the server on the mac. On the mac, I'm able to connect to about 3 other servers, but not the one I'm interested in. The server's administrators said that they didn't change any settings or anything yesterday. I've deleted TS and redownloaded it, as well as completely removed it from the Mac from the terminal and then trying again. Still, I'm unable to connect to the specific server I'm hoping to.

    Here's some logs, the first showing I'm unable to connect to the original server, the next few showing that I *am* able to connect to *other* servers, and then the last bit of the log shows the original server which I can't connect to again.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thank you for moving my thread, however, I'm not sure if doing so will actually end up helping me. Can someone reply to my issue? This thread seems to promote trying the IP address instead of the named-address, however, I'm experiencing the same issue whether I try to connect directly to the IP *or* the named-address. Please help me!

    Did you use an online DNS lookup? Normally this problem is when your computer, or a DNS server in your lookup path, has the wrong IP in its cache for the address. Getting the IP from your computer is likely to get the wrong IP and may still fail to connect. Find a site online that can lookup the IP for the address another way or email gameservers.com for the IP of ts35.gameservers.com

    Something else I would suggest for those using gameservers.com is to have the server listed in the web server list. The server will update the IP in this list ever so often. When the address stops working just search for your server and connect that way.

    Oddly enough, it is now working again today. Not sure if I did anything different.. Thanks for your attention and endeavors to help!

    Most likely the out of date DNS server in your DNS lookup path finally got updated with the server's new IP address.

    It seems that this server provider has many problems with their dns service :-/

    Did someone inform them yet?
