    Client not Starting under Arch

    Hello.
    I am running Arch and my TS3 Client is not starting. I downloaded the latest .run file from your site and executed it. My ~/.ts3client will be cleared after every start to not influence anything.

    $ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. && ./ts3client_runscript.sh

    --> Don't do that. This makes no sense under any circumstances anywhere. If you want to see library behaviour, start with ldd (superb also for you to see what is missing).

    "My soundcard as lsusb is concerned: "

    Your sound card is not so relevant right away. I did already start Teamspeak with garbled sound settings - no sound, but no crash.

    "Unrecognized OpenGL version"

    --> This piqued my interest. Do you have the proper drivers and GL extensions installed for your card, your display manager, and window manager? (I can't imagine TS3 needs OpenGL for running at all, but maybe it falls over some weird configuration.)

    "My ~/.ts3client will be cleared after every start"

    --> Care to elaborate: what do you clear, and do you clear after start but before stopping or definitely when TS3 is _not_ running, how do you clear?

    $ ./ts3client_linux_amd64
    ./ts3client_linux_amd64: error while loading shared libraries: libquazip.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    I know that error message from trying out ./error_report. After installing quazib and c++abi libs which I never saw or used before, it executes fine (without doing anything, but well - mine never crashed ). It may have been called by your ts3 binary if it noticed it crashed before.

    The client does actually need OpenGL for chromium renderer.
    libquazib is included and the reason it wasn't found is because the binary was started directly, so the library paths weren't set. It's done by the start script hence why it didn't happen when using the startscript.
