I believe I may have gotten scammed

Im not sure there is much I can do about this, but I figured I would ask anyways

I believe I have been scammed of my cryptocurrency on a TS3 server I joined, and the perpetrators went through extensive planning in order to make it all seem legit.

We were talking about ICO's and trying to participate in them by pooling our funds, when all of a sudden an official/moderator from TS3 joins our server and says that it is illegal to pool ICO funds on TS3 especially since I am located in the US.


At the moment it never occurred to me that this may be an attempt by the scammers to wrap it up after they had already scammed me of some of my money, so basically I want to know does TS3 have such a policy regarding ICOs and would they abruptly hop into a server and warn participants in that manner?

an official/moderator from TS3 joins our server

We don't join server as official TeamSpeak employees* and tell people what to do.
*With the exception we are in contact trough ticket system or forum and want to solve a server or client problem. But in that case users are informed.

There was some dude on my TeamSpeak (and he did this on a bunch of other TeamSpeak servers too simultaneously), and he made a channel called "BTC: (34 character key)" I'm assuming that has something to do with bitcoin (I have no idea how any of that works), but this perhaps could be related. PM me if you want the unique ID/info of this person.

A channel name itself does nothing.
Only a link / remote image could do sth.

I do not need the UID of that user. There is nothing i or we can do with that.
