Changed: The server does not report all slots filled when only reserved slots are left.

    I tested this server locally.
If I have 32 Slots from 32 Slots on Reserved and have not the permisson have to use Reserved Slots and connect to the server with the 3.1.9 beta, then I get
    Code:
<22:31:00> Versuche zum Server auf 127.0.0.1 zu verbinden
<22:31:01> Verbindung fehlgeschlagen, der Server hat die maximale Anzahl Clients erreicht.

The reserved slots fix is related to the server list. The TeamSpeak Server should not report that 100 clients are connected when the server is actually empty... just because there are only reserved slots available.

This feature must be more better. Current emojis looks creepy. There is no any creativity with that.

Thank you for the answer, Sven!
Will there be better support in the client to show nice emojis?

That is a limitation of the font used and also Qt (on Win 10). It does look nicer on systems that have (better) support for emojis.

Would not global support be better in the TS3 client?

Emojis should be something they can add easy. They already have an area for it, but their emojis suck. Most people know teamspeak is better at it's core, but they need to add stuff that shouldn't matter in a voip. And it's not coping other voip when they copied you, and you already had much of the same stuff, just not as pretty.

    Come on teamspeak.

I created graphical emoji mods for TeamSpeak 5 months ago and a software to create your own one. This is for experienced users only and available only in German. When I made that, I encountered three issues:
    1. The TeamSpeak server supports UCS-4 only in group names and several properties that are only available to "serveradmin". This is fixed now.
    2. The 5-column emoji selection list in TeamSpeak means around 180 emojis can be listed there without exceed the height of common screens. That was also the number of extant UCS-2 emojis, so it wasn't an issue back when TeamSpeak supported only UCS-2 emojis. One will have to choose emojis by another pattern or TeamSpeak has to increase the number of columns in the emoji selection list or improve it by adding categories like in WhatsApp or Gboard. The total number of extant emojis is 2623, which is quite a lot. Gboard knows 1112 emojis.
    3. Using combined emoji sequences is limited by the replacing algorithm in TeamSpeak largely ignoring the order in the emoticon configuration file. Even with the very few sequences in UCS-2, it takes some work to make them compatible.

I'm sorry TeamSpeak, but emoji support is still pretty much limited right now.

Also, Unicode supports comes with some serious glitches on Windows only.

If you post a screenshot of those "serious glitches" on a TeamSpeak Server running version 3.2.0 or newer, we can discuss this further.

Okay, didn't know TeamSpeak only supports emojis where it didn't support unicode yet. I thought it supported the full unicode standard everywhere now, but that is not the case. So said glitch can only be reproduced using group names in server tree which have full unicode support.

Will something be done to make them look better on Windows then?

I made mods for the Twitter top 179 most important emojis – plus the chipmunk, which is totally underrated.

Merge them with your current icon pack (gfx folder in install dir or appdata).

I've done this and they appear in the emoticons tab next to chat but don't appear anywhere else. Am I misunderstanding how they're supposed to work?
