I'm not sure what you are referring to, but icons are no longer limited to 16x16 since ages.

What are you talking about, Group Icons have always been limited to 16x16 and 8kb in size or something like this.

Edit: yeah I tested it, uploaded a 24x24 with less than 8kb which works but its displayed with all the others as 16x16

8kb is the limit you set in your permissions. There is no limit in TeamSpeak.
You are supposed to upload icons in SVG format, which is the format people use for non-photographic images on the web. Those files are really small if created correctly.

Ich denke die derzeitigen NPL werden bestehen bleiben und gelten auch für TS5. Begründe das mal mit den derzeitigen änderungen der NPL Lizenz Regeln.

TeamSpeak 5 Soll ja soweit ich weiß, nur als "Client" erscheinen. Damit kannst du dann ganz normal auf die TeamSpeak Server verbinden die es bereits gibt. Denn gäbe es auch eine extra Server Version von TS5, dann würden die nicht mal eben noch die NPL Regeln überarbeiten.

Ich denke aber dass @dante696 oder so genaueres sagen könnte?

I cannot go into details about TS5.
What I can say is that NPL owners do not have to worry about the current changes on the NPL.

my Name is André and I come from Germany. I heared that Teamspeak 5 is in process and because of this I have a question. Suppose I have an ATHP-License can I use this for Teamspeak 5 hosting of TS5-Servers or did I have to buy me a separately License?

I hope someone can give me an answer .

In teamspeak 5 we will be able to see the badges? And Overwolf will still work?

Badges are likely technology-wise as they are very simple to implement. Overwolf requires an API to be built into TS5. However, if you are missing certain feature in TS5, just use TS3. I believe they are interchangeable.

I am waiting exciting the new version, the team speak need to get modern to this time, i have use this for years, and there is other programs trying to do the same work with new features adapting the new tecnologies, i expect TS5 would cover all our needs and i continue using this, try not change a lot the location of the buttons, i dont want to learn from begining to use the new ts5.

Nice, good to see it's being updated! Odd choice for the name though if it's only the client being overhauled, but maybe it's meant for the server ver # to catch up? Hopefully more 3rd party connections will be implemented as we see with twitch, maybe steam?. I wouldn't be opposed to a built-in game overlay, very useful. Along with the ability to connect via web.


Please remove overwolf, make it clean, no more trash.
