Well, for me the Hype is not over. Yes everyone was excited about TS5 at Q4 2018. And i really don't understand, why so many People are saying, they are leaving TeamSpeak because they couldn't keep the "promise" about Q4 2018. For me personally, i will hopefully stay at Teamspeak forever.

Most of the People didn't say they leave TS because not hitting Q4 2018 but because of the feeling that the TS Headquarter doesn't give a fuck about it's userbase. There were no infos about being able to release TS5 on the announced date. In early january they promised us a microsite and now in february there is still none available and very little infos overall. Now they tease US by releasing a picture puzzle every 2 Days and that pisses many people off because they feel fooled.

Assuming the puzzle pieces will be completed on 23rd feb and they only bring us the new private chat and friends list interface? New puzzle image will be posted after that which displays channels window and the user info window too. Wow amazing we might expect many more puzzles which will continue to amaze us for a month more!.

I am also a little bit worried about the included features. Discord is really convenient. Link invites, Screensharing, Video chats, several bots.
Yes there are plugins in for teamspeak who are able to perform the same stunts. But its just not as convenient.

FYI: within the current TeamSpeak client, go Permissions > Invite Buddy to create a generic invite link.

Judging by the screenshots so far, I presume we'll have persistent text chat and a more refined GUI, but perhaps not the other features you seek. For me that's not a big deal, but I can appreciate different people are after different things from the software.

The bookmark (same as the mobile app), some kind of menu, server selection maybe ? and contacts so, for private messages, I guess
