Everyone thinks they are so bad because it's js and js must be bad. And it takes more memory than normal apps, so it must be bad too. Most of those guys never had any problems with electron apps, but they're hating it because it's mainstream. Electron gives developers the opportunity to create fancy, fast, powerful and cross-os applications like no other framework. That's probably why teamspeak doesn't finish their products in time and others those.

Well do you know why it's possible for electron apps to run on every OS? Because they are written in HTML, JavaScript and CSS and you have to run a whole browser engine to run the app. And thats why electron or progressive web apps are not as good as native apps. Native apps are usually much more efficient.

The Server Version 3.6.1 is already avaible but not on the Website. This could be a reason, i think.

That was probably just the cat of the marketing guy laying down on the keyboard. I doubt they have a "plan" that incorporates sneaky tweets. Let's not interpret something into every little piece of communication and stick to actual facts.

I think there are 12 pieces and we get one every day.
The other question is what we get after the 12 days. In my opinion this can only be the microsite. Seems like they are still far away from a Release or even beta Release.

But Im happy that we get a bit information now.
