Don't know...but if they don't post something like "Beta keys have just been send out" or something similar ppl will surely start complaining - and I'd like to add that they would have any right doing so.

But I think Teamspeak is aware of this and for the moment I hope that they will act accordingly.

Though they haven't been particularly good at it in the past (looking at you Q4 2018 Beta Release).

complete nonsense. vps server right now stands at some hosting providers no more than $ 10 where you can keep both teamspeak server and hosting deployed with vestacp. And you can also buy npl license for free. and about any 100 dollars of speech and no.no need to laugh, this discord nitro is useless crap. for any community, the main thing is quality communication. and for chats there is a telegram and viber

You are talking nonsense now.
You can't buy a Non-Profit License (NPL). If you do so it is an abuse of the NPL and can lead to its termination. Same if you buy one for "free".
They can only be given to you by TeamSpeak System GbmH, after they have confirmed your claim to get one, which means:

A dedicated top-level domain website for you and your project/community, which has some kind of activity.
A Email address associated with that domain (not a simple @gamil.com email or so)
A Static IP (not a big problem if you already have a VPS)
No Ads or Donation buttons of any kind on your website/TS3 server.

Dunno how the new sponsorship license works, but those where the requirements for NPLs, until they stopped giving them out like 9 months ago.
So this is all for nothing after all, since you can cant get NPLs anymore. And it seems that those sponsorship license are still not available. So if you want to start a TS3 community right now with more than 32 members you need to either buy a yearly license for at least 65$ or rent a server from a hoster. Those are your options right now.

The pre-release of the newest server version 3.7.0 states the following in the announcement thread:

This server version adds a new feature that the upcoming (not yet released) "TeamSpeak 5 client" needs.

The beta CANNOT start until this is released, and it was first slated to release March 12th, 2019 and was changed to March 19th, 2019.
