    Connection Error to Server

    Hi,

I am running a TS3 server on my Qnap NAS but I can't connect to it from any of my iOS devices (iPad, iPhone) using the paid app.
The devices can connect to other TS3 server, but NOT to "ferenc.hopto.org". The server works fine from my PC and my friends from several other contries are able to connect to it as well from their computers.
Could someone help me figure out why this is happening?

    Thank you in advance.

Connection to ferenc.hopto.org worked for me on iPad.

You may try the IP 178.164.152.144

I did try that even before posting on the forum.
I also tried to connect via G4 instead of the local WIFI but it is the same result.

Any ideas what I can do to find the problem?

I have discovered that I can connect to the server using the local IP while on the WIFI network but this is not a real solution since I would like to have access while I am away.

One cannot usually connect to ones own WAN IP. This is not a TeamSpeak-related issue at all.

While on the WIFI network sure but shouldn't the iOS app work/connect to the server when using 4G?
I would appreciate a little explanation if you have the time.

Over 4G, you should be able to connect. Didn't read that.
A tracert would maybe help if there is such software for iOS. You can also try running tracert when using tethering with your computer.
