Suggestion: switch to Beta and simpler back to current release

    Suggestion:

When activating the beta channel in settings, you need only check for updates and you are ready to go to the recent beta release. It would be grate if you change to stable channel you only check for update too and get an "update" to the latest stable release.

What you want (downgrade client) is nothing we support.
You are always on the risk to lose settings, Bookmarks etc.when you install a older version.

The beta and stable update do the same thing. The client automatically checks every 24 hours after last update check.
And on next client start you get asked to update, when a newer version was available.
Same happens when you manually check for an update and a newer client is available.
